Multi-Room Project: Alexandria, VA

We’re passionate about creating spaces that feel like home for our clients at yZiGN. To do this, we learn about the interests and personalities of each family member, find the middle ground and build on that. The yZiGN team designed multiple rooms for this young couple, who made the sophisticated decision to invest in quality interior design for their brand new home. We learned they both grew up going to the beach, which served as the inspiration for this project.

Cozy and light neutral colors and blue hues were used along with a variety of mixed textures to create a relaxed, coastal-inspired atmosphere. The glass paneled armoire in the sun room is an eye-catcher and conversation piece, proving storage doesn’t have to be built-in to be practical.
